1. General Information

We attach great importance to protecting your data and your privacy. This policy therefore provides information about how we collect and use your personal data when you visit our website.

This privacy policy is issued by O. KLEINER AG. By using our website, you are consenting to your personal data being processed in accordance with the following provisions. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that data transfer via the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to protect such data completely against access by third parties.

When you visit our website, we collect, use and store your personal data. Personal data is information and individual details of personal or factual circumstances relating to you or which we as O. KLEINER AG otherwise connect with you.

What Do We Use Your Data For?

Newsletter
Regardless of contract execution, we use your email solely for our own advertising purposes to send you a newsletter, if you have expressly agreed to our doing so. If you registered before the GDPR came into force, you can now cancel the newsletter at any time using the following link, or send us an email to the address in the legal notice so that we can immediately delete your email address.

Mailchimp
To send our newsletter, we use a Mailchimp mailing service to which we forward your email address for automated mailing. We have concluded a corresponding order processing contract with this provider.

Contact Form
If you use our contact form, regardless of the service in question, we may be sent data such as your identification details (e.g. title, name), company-specific contact details (e.g. email, company, tel. no., address, location) and so on. We use this information to respond to your request, e.g. to contact you and process your specific wishes. Personal data is deleted at regular intervals where technically feasible.

Events
We also use your contact details to invite you to our events (e.g. trade fairs).

5. Revocation of Consent for Data Processing

Many data processing operations can only be carried out with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have previously given at any time. Simply send us an informal email requesting this. The legitimacy of the data processing up until the point of revocation remains unaffected by this revocation.

In the latter case, you have a general right of objection that we will fulfill without you being required to specify a particular situation.

You have the right to require that processing of your personal data be limited. You can contact our Datenschutzbeauftragten at any time in order to do so.  The right to limit processing arises in the following cases:

Our website uses social plugins (hereinafter «Plugins») for various social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter (hereinafter  «Netzwerke»). The plugins have a logo or text information. 10. Storing Your Data on Other Systems, Duration, and Data Security

To enable legitimate statistical analysis, your data must be stored for a period of up to 14 months. Data (logfiles) from the hoster will be deleted after a week, at predefined intervals.

We take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from manipulation, loss, destruction, or unauthorized processing.

O. KLEINER AG uses the SSL security procedure to execute transactions. SSL supports secure transport between a web browser and a web server. We are continually improving our security measures in line with technical developments.

However, O. KLEINER AG accepts no liability for damages resulting from data loss or for knowledge and processing of personal data by unauthorized third parties.
